History
Bussey's Flea Market opened in the fall of 1978 by H. P. Bussey. He
built 120 spaces at that time. In June of 1984 Mr. Bussey sold the Flea
Market to a limited partnership, with Harold J. Smith as the General
Partner. Today, Mr. Smith is still the General partner with his three
children as limited partners: Karmen West, Steven Smith, and Pamela
Smith. Bussey's Flea Market now has three generations of full time
employees. Over the past 25 years, this family owned business has
grown to over 500 vendors and a customer count between 12,000 and
16,000 every weekend.
